AI, DeepTech and Industry Transformation conference CogX is back…
For some inexplicable reason, they seem to be struggling for attendees. As suggested by the HUGE promotional push and heavy discounting I’ve seen on tickets over the past few days.
But let’s not forget, at last year’s show they actually ran a session entitled ‘The New World Health Order’. Featuring Chris Wigley from Genomics England, no less.
Maybe people are getting wise to the scam?
Even so, I must say I’m shocked (shocked!) the good people of the UK aren’t flocking from every far-flung corner of the country to hear WEF Obergruppenführer, Yuval Noah Harari’s nightmarish, AI-fuelled visions of global subjugation.
He seems like such a lovely man.
Who else is speaking? Maybe we can get a few people down to help fill out the seats.
Oh look, it’s the former head of MI6, Alex Younger, BBC Vaxx Propagandist, Professor Hannah Fry and Michelle Donelan, Tory Minister for Science, Innovation and Technology talking about something called ‘Global Stability’.
Nothing sinister about that, whatsoever.
And don’t worry, that lovely man from the telly Stephen Fry is there to give the whole thing a nice warm cozy glow of mainstream, prime time approval.

Anyway… in all seriousness.
CogX is on for the next 3 days. They seem to be struggling to gather an audience, which makes me happy. I’m going to head down there myself to check it out in person at some point to get a feel for what’s happening on the ground.
I considered going for the full show but I don’t have £1500 burning a hole in my pocket to give to these people. And the free pass should give me enough visibility to at least get a sense of what’s going on down there.
I think of this crowd as the Digital Industrial Complex. The people desperately trying to ‘build more, faster’ to bring about the new hyper-digitised, AI-everything reality envisaged by the likes of Tony Blair. I recently spoke to UK Column about this at some length.
The speakers are an assorted mob of robber barons, transhumanists, spies, propagandists, censors, ‘elites’, TV personalities and the odd serious / interesting technologist thrown in to make things look vaguely interesting / respectable.
For the diggers, I strongly suggest taking a look at the Speakers list. Which has some fascinating names and organisations, all deeply embedded and intertwined with the ongoing WEF ‘Great Reset’ and its various component parts.
Some of the bigger names are obvious at this point (Deloitte, Google, Meta etc) but it’s the smaller ones that raise eyebrows. What’s ‘literal Communist’ Aaron Bastani from Novara Media doing down there, for example? And who’s behind / funding I Use Genius?
