It’s disgusting Ben - as an aside, my daughter sadly lost a baby recently at 24 weeks- he was classified as a still birth and we had a funeral for him. So we do classify 24 weeks as completely viable (with help)…..where does this leave the process for all those women who desperately want their babies? Are they now just going to be classified as “spontaneous abortion”??? The only thing that kept my daughter sane was the funeral and ongoing help from SANDS baby loss charity….. key word BABY loss . WTF is wrong with these MPs???

Once you legalise murder, for that is what both the euthanasia and abortion bills do, then no lesser crime will be taken seriously, or punished. Until now, murder was the benchmark of crime. Nothing else came close. Manslaughter was the component in which self-defence, torture, or provoking circumstances could mitigate an instance of murder. Now the wilful decision to murder is fine. It will apply to doctors who jump the death gun, and mothers who think limitless sex carries no consequences. A very dark day for the morality of this country, it no longer exists.
I saw someone the other day arguing babies only become humans through being nurtured through their early years, basically saying it was fine to kill post partum. A truly unbelievable position to take.

Their problem with failing maternity services (by design), needing to limit the numbers of women having babies at all (depopulation), enticing them to opt for expensive private 'services' - all swept away. Task Problem - Data informed solution. No human impact considered, you have to be human to be able to do that. Can you imagine the fear any now pregnant women presenting to an NHS delivery suite will endure for the rest of their babies gestation? Any 'wannabe' mother will either opt to go private if they can afford, and those that can't will move their pregnancies to the shadows. A planted terror move to deter women even attempting pregnancies. A woman is never more vulnerable than during pregnancy but the biological clocks ticks loud. I predict an explosions of doulas as their 'coming for the children', quite literally, jolts communities into circling their wagons, frontier styley.

For whatever reason it is nature's and her body's immune system who says the baby is not due this time.
My mom lost her first child the same way, but took revenge and got 4 children afterwards. Take it as a man, more nice hours in bed :-D.

Agreed. The death penalty can be abused but taking that away was the start of the slippery slope to where we are now as regards law.
