This funky AI app developer, partnered with UK government is trying to insert itself into the most basic and personal of human interactions. It's a hard no from me, you insane bunch of weirdos.
As a small aside, 'Neya' in sanskrit means: "to be led, guided, managed or governed".
All part of the process of destroying existing, natural systems and replacing with elements of control grid. These control systems will, of course, join and integrate. My advice is to stay human and get closer to God.
We used to have local community hubs around here where you could interact, meet people, chat and get information etc. They were called village pubs. They closed them all down. The Green Dragon Tavern in Boston, for example, played a role in the Boston Tea Party, and taverns were central to the American Revolution. But I don't suppose real people meeting and chatting about revolution or even genocide these days is viewed positively-much better if the discourse is filtered.
Staggering! I agree, go away! Really good comments.
Being part of building a community is the fun bit too. Getting to know people, helping out, getting together. As a ‘older’ person I also feel there’s wisdom and knowledge I can share… but not through the filter of an app… why would I do that?
This has more than a whiff of the 15-minute city about it.
And I love the CS Lewis quotation - describes most of our local councillors and political activists to a T. They're bound to push this. I once organised a neighbourhood street party and one of them said 'We ought to set up a Facebook group.' I just laughed.
PS You wouldn't catch that Brian Gerrish presenting in 'a ropy old t-shirt' haha!
Didn’t Facebook have an “up my street” or some such? My daughter used it when she moved to a new area- she connected physically with many neighbours as a result because it was just a kind of direct messaging service 😁still operating as a sort of neighbourhood watch for them ….. but it’s person to person ….. so obvs can’t have that 🙄😜

Ben, I'd implore you to read this - Thomas Sheridan substack. Thomas is known to UKC.
This describes an interaction with AI - Thomas has written several books notably puzzling people.

Sounds like only those with a "correct" social credit score will be recommended
