Yes, many thanks for that Ian…both my late parents were Russianists, fluent speakers of Russian, dedicating their entire lives to fighting the threats of Communism and they would certainly be turning in their graves now about what is going on in the West.
I am trying to tell our friends and close families that I have already seen and heard what’s happening in the UK under Soviet Union in Hungary. We fought long and hard to get rid of the Marxists, communists and you welcome these ideologies. People’s complacency is very concerning and dangerous. This can evolve into something from which there would be no turning back. I hear the same ruthless hatred against people who worked hard and they have something, from people who never even bothered. This hatred is now institutionalised and advertised by government bodies such as the HM Treasury that should remain outside of politics, neutral. For me the UK seems more and more dangerous by the day when comes to freedom of speech, democracy, property rights… remember fascism has a definition, what label you attach to it is irrelevant. Putting the benefit of the masses in front of the individual is by definition is fascism. Replacing the Jews with anti-vaxxers is just changing the label, you go further and change it to climate denier, you get the picture. Equally climate communism is a form of collectivism. Tyranny always starts as something hard to not agree and morphs into a catastrophe. You really need to wake up UK.
Unfortunately, UK is well known abroad for denial, arrogance in being right, indignant outrage at Johnny Foreigner and trusting the telly news, as well as bad dentistry and football hooligans. People don't believe the truth, they have to be shown...do I trust they shall be? H'mmm...I can, however, hope so.
No good just hoping Jenny! - it is absolutely encumbant on all of us who are ‘awake’ to what is going on to be pro-active in discussing all these issues publically and calling people out who follow this destructive doctrine…what I tried to do from whenever I was able as a political activist and member of ‘the resistance’ from 2020-2022.
Good for you Eloise! I've been awake and aware for 32 years, I learned very quickly that prosylitising only produces resistance in others not on the same wavelength. I wait to be asked now, as an observer with a view from 60,000 feet up. I notice you "tried to do"...as wise Yoda said: "Do or do not, there is no try!"
Many thanks indeed Ben…will certainly have a listen and educate myself in this. FYI, had a very good meeting for three hours with NCF Locals in Wetherspoon’s Carlisle yesterday afternoon. I was challenging a Conservative counsellor, after having made it clear that I USED to be a Conservative, before becoming a ‘Reformer’ - (let’s face it, although perhaps not all ideal with Reform, we are not being offered any other realistic choice, party wise, to try and at least challenge and de-stabilise the Uni parties, at the moment at any rate) generally about the, as I put it: ‘Eco Communist hell’ hole we currently find ourselves in and over centralisation of everything, which leads to not having a proper accountable democracy. When I asked him whether the new Unitary Cumberland (re-named from Cumbria) council was costing more money than the old system, he said yes and he also said it isn’t running that well - go figure, as our friends on the other side of the pond would say…
